Bollywood Star Govinda Hospitalized After Accidental Gunshot Wound
Mumbai, October 1, 2024 — Bollywood actor Govinda, 60, suffered a leg injury when his licensed revolver accidentally discharged while he was handling it at his residence. The incident occurred early in the morning as Govinda was preparing to leave for a flight to Kolkata. The bullet struck below his left knee, prompting his immediate admission to Criti Care Hospital.
Govinda underwent surgery to remove the bullet, and doctors have reported that he is recovering well. In a statement, the actor expressed gratitude to his fans, doctors, and family for their support during this difficult time.
